The controversial, United States and Israel-funded GHF aid organization declares it is winding down its humanitarian work in the affected area, after almost six months.

The group had already suspended its multiple aid distribution centers in Gaza after the truce agreement between Hamas and Israel took effect in recent weeks.

The GHF aimed to avoid UN systems as the chief distributor of relief to Palestinian residents.
